Sophie (Soph) Theoharis 86, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019. She was born in Nashua on September 1, 1932, daughter of the late Demetrios and Maria (Nasioupoulos) Theoharis.
She was a lifelong resident of Nashua, and graduated from Nashua High. She was a devout Orthodox Christian, and a proud and dedicated member of the Elpis Ladies' Society, a charitable organization. She was a master cook of Greek cuisine and pastry, and she enjoyed sewing, reading, and traveling. She loved her nieces and nephews, as if they were her own. Her wealth of selflessness, kind spirit, and great sense of humor will be sorely missed. Sophie is survived by her niece Maria Donati and her husband Paul of Brookline, NH, her nephew James Pappas and his wife Paula of New jersey, her niece Jane MacIntyre of Amherst, NH, her pride and joy great niece Marisa Donati of Brookline, NH, and her brother Ernest Theoharis of Plymouth Ma.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 11:30am-12:30pm at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W Hollis St. Nashua, with a funeral service at 12:30pm, burial will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church.
