Demetria Dawn Kelly, age 59, of Nashville passed away Friday morning (03/20/2020) at Community Hospital- East in Indianapolis. Born March 22, 1960 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Jack and Carmen (King) Altop. Prior to her illness, Demetria enjoyed being a licensed realtor. She formerly worked as an expert cake decorator for several of the Marsh Supermarkets. To be physically fragile as she was, she one of the strongest persons her family ever has known.
Demetria is survived by her son, Ty (Kylene) Watkins, of Morgantown (Brown County), her daughter Taylor Lemons, of Nashville, her father, Jack Altop, of Morgantown, her mother, Carmen Altop, of Nashville, one sister, Denise Campbell, of Nashville, one brother, Roger Altop, of Easley, South Carolina and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Travis Watkins.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. The family is planning for a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
