Chester “Lyle” Watson, 91, passed away on Friday, July 13th, 2018, at his home in Shelbyville, TN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm with the funeral at 2:30 on Monday, July 16th, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

Lyle was born on March 3rd, 1927 son of Lester and Dovie Watson of Moss Tennessee.

Lyle served his country during WWII as a Staff Sergeant with the 752nd Tank Battalion.

Lyle was retired from Western Electric/Bell South/AT&T where he spent 30 plus years of service.

Survivors include his son, Gary Watson wife Diane Watson of Shelbyville, TN, two Brothers Jim Watson,wife Darlene and Frank Watson,wife Mary Geneva, and 6 Grandchildren Nicholas Watson, Brent Watson, Lora Wilson, Wiley Toombs, Adam Toombs, and Sara Peitz and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Watson, Brent Watson, Wiley Toombs, Ernest McGee, Donald McGee, Charles Abernathy, Steve Abernathy, and Marty Watson, Robert Winters.
