Harvey Franklin Lee of Lebanon, Tennessee, recently from Hampshire, Tennessee was born Monday, May 26, 1941 and went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 29, 2019.

Harvey was first a man of faith in Jesus, trusting Him as savior and living out his faith daily. He was loyal to his country having served in the US Marine Corp and involved in local politics.

Harvey was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and was a person easy to love. He loved making new friends and spending time with his friends and family. Harvey worked in construction and loved woodworking and building things from wood. Many friends and family will continue to enjoy the handmade swings, bowls and other wood products he made.

Harvey was preceded in death by parents Russell Lee and Arvila Hunt Lee Lackey, brothers Gerald Wayne Lee and Bobby Turner Lee, son Michael Todd Lee and great granddaughter Emma Phillips. He is survived by wife of 32 years, Cherryl Lynch Lee; brothers James Marvis Lee (Del Jean), R David Lee( Carlotta), sister Ruth Lee Grubbs (Steve), sister in law Loretta Alleman, sons Vernon Alan Lee (Bonnie), Jeffrey Wayne Lee, Eddie Dean Lee, Marty Penton (Kristi), John Penton; daughter Jennifer Lee Ward; granddaughters Christine Phillips (Scott), Briana Blaylock, Callyn Corder, great granddaughter Scarlett Phillips and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Thursday, May 2, 2019 with Bro. Mike Nolen officiating at Tulip Grove Baptist Church 563 Shute Lane Old Hickory, Tennessee. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, Tennessee

Family and friends will gather to remember Harvey at a visitation Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 10:00 until the 12:00 service at Tulip Grove Baptist Church.

Harvey was my father-in-law for 9 years and he loved me well. I loved being in Cherryl and Harvey's home! I was just as much at home there as I was in my own parents' home. I haven't seen him much in the last 20 years but I will never forget his warm smile and his big hugs!
