Dr. Randolph was truly a miracle blessing to have come into our lives.  Our son, Danny needed immediate surgery as an infant and is thriving today thanks to our Lord and the amazing hands & work of Dr. Randolph. Dear Randolph Family: I extend the sincerest condolences to the family...Words fall short to express the tremendous influence he has had on the countless surgeons he trained..He was my mentor and later become good frineds...To this day I practice the principles of surgery I learned while at Childrens Hospital with Dr.Randolph..I was very fortunate to serve as resident under his tutelage...God be with you..

I am very heartbroken, having just learned of Dr. Randolph's passing.  I was a patient a few times of Dr. Randolph as a young child at the old Children's Hospital in Washington' DC, including one life-saving surgery.  Dr. Randolph was a tremendous pediatric surgeon, educator, mentor, but most of all, a tremendous human being.  He has been a hero to me all my life and was one for my parents when they were alive.  I send my heartfelt condolences to Dr. Randolph's family, friends, colleagues and patients and their families.  God Bless you Dr. Randolph.  Thank you very much for all that you did for me and for others throughout your life.

I am sorry to hear of Dr. Randolph's passing. I worked with him, and the many children he helped, on the Burn Team in Washington, DC. I will remember his warm smile, his professional integrity, and his willingness to spend time with parents to hear them, offer hugs, and his service. Peace to him, and your family.

Dr. Randolph operated on our son, Christopher, at Children's when Chris was 4. During the pre-op appointment, Dr. Randolph talked directly to Chris saying "I know you're hearing a lot of adults talk about you.  I want you to know that you're all right.  We just have to fix one small thing.  It won't take long and everything will be all right."  His prediction was right. Of course, I will always be grateful for his excellent medical care.  I will always remember his kindness and concern for his little patient. We didn't "know" Dr. Randolph but have spoken of him over the years and we will always remember him as a good man. God bless him.

Dear Garrett:  You know how much I loved being in your home with all your wonderful siblings and tremendous parents. The games of pick up sticks that your Dad NEVER lost, the trampoline and our band practices are just a few of the highlights. I learned so much from your father's service to his patients and  and your mother's

Dearest Garrett, I think of you often, but always when reading Each Day A New Beginning, the book you inscribed and gave me so many years ago.  It was a beginning.  So sorry for the loss of your dad.  His was a rich, full life. Ann McCarty (Ross).

Dr. Randolph will be most definitely missed here on earth.  He was a sweet and kind person who lived life to the fullest.  He really supported my artwork and I am glad I got to know him.  I send love, peace, joy, happiness, positive prayer, healing and thought to his family.
