was born on Tumbling Creek in McEwen ,TN to Barnett and Ada Bowman Peeler. She is
preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Alvin Fuqua, and her daughter, Lindsay Dell
Fuqua, and special nephew, John Peeler. Left to cherish their memories with her are
goddaughter, Hope (Allan) Welch, god-grandchildren, Lindsay (Kurt) Hodges, Brittney (Jared)
Phillips, and her babies, Cecilia and Patrick Hodges. She is also survived by her sister, Vivian
Stringe, nieces Sue Ellen, Joanie, Brenda and Maxine. She is preceded in death by her brothers Lehman and Herbert Peeler.
Lillian’s life can be summed up in two words: Lillian Loved! She was a member at Jackson
Park Church of Christ where she could be counted on to cook for any occasion, send cards,
and offer words of encouragement. She loved serving people. She worked for Dr. Nichol in
Inglewood for 30 years. Her precious smile and sparkling eyes are now shining in heaven.

Visitation Friday March 16th from three o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Saturday March 17th at Ten o’clock in the Morning in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Entombment following in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
