Preceded in death by Stella Marie Upchurch Rogers, his loving wife of 45 years, and children Alice Fay Rogers Wright, Donnie Ray Rogers and William Eugene Rogers.
Lovingly remembered by his daughter, Bonnie Gay Rogers Tolar, five surviving siblings of 12, 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 from 2 PM – 4 PM. Memorial Service 4 PM – 5PM.
Graveside Service with Military Honors (Navy) will be held at Guilford Memorial Park on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 6000 West Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407 from 1 PM – 3PM.
