We are so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We always enjoyed the time that we spent with Bob and Sandy at Parkinsons Support Groups. He was always willing to share what was going on with him and he also gave support and concern to what was going on with the group....and he was fun. He brought a lot of laughs to the group. His chemical engineering mind was always at work trying to find some answers for all of us. We miss you Bob......Love ,thoughts .and prayers.',''

Kassie, Buddy and Betty Hayes, so sorry to hear about Bobby Garnet..he was a funny guy who in his teenage years, loved to tease Kassie and me, especially weekend sleepovers which happened quite often.

I know how hard it is letting go of siblings..🙏🙏.. May your family find peace from the outpouring of love. Wish I could be with you during this difficult time. Hugs to all.

Bob was not only a special person to work with but was a special friend as well. He always believed in the worth of people, that each person could obtain their potential if they were given the opportunity with the right leadership. He lived that every day of his life. He was also a basket of energy. I’ll never forget the time in a restaurant when the service was slow and he went back into the kitchen to help out. They let him do so and boy did we get our service a lot quicker. The world has gotten a little darker but boy has heaven gotten a lot brighter!

Uncle Bobby had more influence on my life than most of my family might know. Within our home, there was always a sense of adventure connected with the next place that the Humkey's were going to live....Orange Texas, Chattanooga, Willmington Deleware. I knew he was a Chemical Engineer and went to Speed Scientific School. So when I realized I liked chemistry in high school, my thoughts turned to being a Chemical Engineer like my uncle Bob. When I started to play golf in junior high, it was uncle Bobby who would play with me when he was in town or when we visited him in Willmington one summer. His smile and laughter made everthing fun. As I aged and began raising my own family, I realized we had a deeper bond....one founded on Christ and His Holy Church. God bless you Bobby, we will be praying for you, please pray for us. Till we meet again.

My deepest sympathy to the Humkey family at this time. I worked with Bob both during his DuPont days and later with his own business. I assisted with their computer needs on a contract basis through DuPont. Both Bob and Charlie were kind people to work with and I enjoyed them greatly. I hope all of you will find comfort in knowing that he will be sick no longer.
Peace to you!

Sandy and Family,
It was a pleasure to meet and get to know Bob. He was a good friend to my Dad (Tom Holloman) and I will always remember all the time and effort he put into the Speed School reunion. It was a fun cookout!
Bob was a great man gone too soon. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Jennifer, Ashley & Amber,

I'm sorry to here about your Dad & Grandfather I don't know if you ever told me but he and I had something in common. We were both Speed school graduates and Dupont employees. I miss seeing you all at church and hearing you sing. Let's all pray that this will end soon.
