Audrey L. Reynolds age 95 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James B. “Bucky” Reynolds and her companion of many years, the late Richard Pierce.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Irving W. and Susie E. (Cottle) Dyson, she was a longtime resident of New Bedford. She was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, Class of 1940. Audrey was employed at Aerovox, she was also employed at Kresge’s Dept. store and Reynolds Poultry Farm. She was member of the Royal Travelers, she enjoyed needlepoint, traveling and Arts and Crafts. She was also a member of Agawam #1211, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Solomon of New Bedford and Janet McKay and her husband Louis of FL; four grandchildren, Beverly King and her husband Timothy, Nancy McKay, Ronald Solomon and his wife Vera and Amy Solomon; six great-grandchildren, Karl, Keith, Tyler, Matthew, Kayleigh and Byron; four great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Beryl B. Brightman and mother in-law of the late Lloyd Solomon.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 9:00AM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
