Cecil was one of the nicest people I ever met. He always made me feel better for having talked with him. We met sometime back in the 60’s and crossed paths a few times hauling material and at a few parties. Always a gentleman. Rest easy, my friend.

He called the house and tried to sale me a vacuum cleaner I did not know it was him but he wanted to come over and show me how well the vacuum cleaner worked. I told him I don’t need a vacuum cleaned I had wood floors and he kept saying it will clean anything I got mad so I hung up on him . Then he called back and was laughing because I fell for it and he got me! i did not know it was him. We laughed about that for along time. He will be missed...

We’ve known Cecil for so very long. When we decided to buy a bull for our cattle we bought Zonka from him. Zonka got out and Cecil was there without hesitation to help us get him back in. He showed us his little tricks of the trade. He will be missed by all that knew him. God bless his family through this time.

So sad to be writing anything about you my friend. I met your boy Ryan several years back and became quick friends. He introduced me to Cecil on his front porch. That was also an immediate friendship. He invited me in, saved me from his dog and handed me a cold beverage. I found myself stopping by from time to time just to talk on the porch. I was lucky enough to meet Jared and Becky and they all became a little bit of family. We had a lot of good quality man to man talks at his place. What a great Man, a hard worker and a loving Father. Ryan, Jared and Becky and all of his family. My heart goes out to you all. He will truly be missed. God Bless him and may he rest in peace!

Cecil was one of the Sweetest, most caring and fun loving persons I’ve ever known. I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing, which is still hard for me to comprehend. He always had a way of making me laugh my guts out, every time I was with him. He had such a Sweet and soft heart, but he didn’t want anyone to think that of him, but he Was just That. He so Adored his two Sons with all his heart, along with all his family.
He was definitely one of a kind, the Only man that took me to feed his cows in a super muddy field on a four wheeler. Then rode me thru a dang car wash to get most of the mud off so we could go to a little bar. Lord have Mercy! Lots and lots of laughs.
Cecil you will be missed Greatly. I would like to give my condolences to all his Precious family at this sad time. I know you have many Great memories. Rest In Peace Dear Friend. Love you
