Evaline M. Krueger went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 96. She was born on August 21, 1922 in Bulverde, Texas to Charles and Louise Rieger Kramm. Evaline married Walter Ludwig in 1941 until he passed in 1943. She later married Elmer Krueger in 1947 and shared 58 years together until his passing 2006. Evaline worked in several grocery stores until she retired in 1984. She enjoyed life on her ranch in Marion, Texas. For many years Evaline served as President of the Comal County Senior Citizens Center, where she enjoyed volunteering and driving the van on some of their trips. Evaline also loved sewing for her family. She was a judge in homemaking for the youth division at the Comal County and Guadalupe County Fairs. Evaline also always enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Stoepler; grandchildren, Tracy Stoepler (Norma), Tim Stoepler (Trish), Teresa Boyd (Vince), Mike Krueger (Margie), and Tara Krueger; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Evaline was preceded in death by two husbands; three half-brothers; son, Walter Krueger; and son-in-law, Lawrence Stoepler.
Public Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 am at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with Pastor John Ned Massey officiating.
