Kerwin P. Weinheimer

Kerwin Paul Weinheimer, 82, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. Kerwin was born October 5, 1936 to Paul and Lillie Danz Weinheimer in Fredericksburg, Texas. Kerwin is preceded in death by his parents. Kerwin graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Fredericksburg in 1955. Kerwin and Bernice Kierce were married May 4, 1957 and celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in May, 2018. Kerwin is survived by his wife Bernice Kierce Weinheimer; daughter, Cheryl Mathis and husband Jack; daughter, Renee Hawkins and husband Ron; son, Keith Weinheimer and wife Monica; and daughter, Jill Peake and husband Ben. Kerwin is also survived by his grandchildren, Teresa, Laura, Klint, Eric, Clifton, Deanne, Anna, Jackie, Kaitlin, and Lilliana; and 13 great grandchildren.

Kerwin was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. His children and some of the grandchildren and great grandchildren also enjoyed hunting and fishing with him.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church located at 386 North Castell Avenue, New Braunfels, Texas, followed by a Rosary at 9:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held at the church hall following the Funeral Mass.
