Shanna Kay Boles was born to Ben and Louise Boles on August 20, 1964, at Fort Polk, Louisiana. She attended Texas School for the Deaf and graduated in 1985. She got her first job at Pearl Harbor Naval Station in Hawaii. Shanna was a kind and light-hearted person whose laughter always filled the room. She enjoyed sharing a joke and brightening someone’s day. She loved watching movies, spending time with her family, and expressing herself through the word of God. As a young child, Shanna dreamed of being a rock star and could often be found listening to her records at full volume. After suffering her second stroke, she moved into Kirkwood Manor in New Braunfels and spent the last of her years making the nurses laugh. She is survived by her son, Drake Boles-Crumrine, two daughters Kayla and Morgan Boles-Crumrine, her parents Ben and Louise Boles, and her brother and sister in law, Carrollton and Kathy Boles and various family members.
