Judith B Delahunty

Judith Brophy Delahunty, age 67, wife of P.J Delahunty since 1994, of New Britain passed away with family by her side after a brief battle with lung cancer. Judy was born on May 19, 1946, in Waterbury, daughter of James and Evelyn Brophy. Judy was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Waterbury and Newton College of the Sacred Heart. She was an art teacher in CT for many years, passionate about what she did and touched the hearts of many students. She retired from Southington High School and spent her free time enjoying the beach in Naples, FL and playing with her 8 grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her sons, D.J. Haddad and his wife Marissa of Fairfield, Brian Haddad and his wife Eugenia of New York, NY, her step-son Patrick Delahunty and his wife Ashley, her step-daughter Shannon Jones and her husband Kevin and all the loving grandchildren Dylan, Eviana, Molly, Meaghan, Winnie, Taylor, Delaney and Cooper. She also leaves her sister Mary Brophy of New York, NY.

Funeral and services will be private. New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home , 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, has been entrusted with arrangements.
