Rose ( Palazzolo) Mitchell 83 of New Britain died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 26, 2011. She was a native and lifelong resident of New Britain. She was a widow of Donald R. Mitchell Sr. and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She is survived by her devoted family, her daughter, Patricia Marzi and her husband, Ronald of New Britain; her son Donald R. Mitchell Jr. and his wife, Kathleen of Hartford. She is also survived by seven beloved grandchildren who where her pride and joy, she is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain (directions: I-84, right off #37, 1 ½ miles on right) followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in St, Mary’s Garden Mausoleum. New Britain. Calling hours will be Tuesday June 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
