Santo "Sam" Endrizzi

On June 21, 2018, Heaven received another angel.

Beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. Proud WW II veteran.

"What though the radiance which was once so bright

Be now forever taken from my sight,

Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower;

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind." - Wordsworth

In lieu of flowers consider a donation to The American Red Cross, St. Brigid's Parish, or St. Francis Hospital Cancer Institute Infusion Center.

As President of the 344th Bomb Group Association, and speaking for the members, we are extremely saddened to know of the Last Flight of our Friend, Brother, and Comrade. We always looked forward to seeing Sam at the Reunions, and Sam always looked forward to attending. We were so glad to spend time with our friend at last year's reunion in Dayton.
He will be missed.

I did not get the chance to meet Sam personally only on the phone we talked once for an interview. When I first heard his voice he sounded like the sweetest person I really wish I could have met him in person but I never had the chance. I’m sure Sam is in a better place he will never be forgotten.

Although I have many pictures of us with our dear friend Sam, his smile is especially bright with Andrew. I think it was his love for family and music that brightened his life. We will miss him dearly, but heaven just got brighter. Rest In Peace Sam.
