Anna Marie Bienvenu Armentor

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Lenwood Jerome Armentor, the former Anna Bienvenu, at 11:00 am Thursday, June 27, 2013 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.

A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Armentor passed away at 5:20 pm on Monday, June 27, 2013 at Iberia Medical Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Sonnier and husband Donald and one son, David Armentor and wife Carol all of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Steve Sonnier and wife Jermaine; Mark Sonnier and wife Sonya; Keith Sonnier and wife Kim; Christina Barras and Ryan Armentor and wife Blaire; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenwood Jerome Armentor; parents, Ignace and Anita Berard Bienvenu; and two sisters, Jeanne Potier and Rose Beslin.

Pallbearers will be Steve Sonnier, Mark Sonnier, Keith Sonnier, Ryan Armentor, Nicholas J. Sonnier and Coby J. Sonnier.
