Darrol was a kind and free spirited man who enjoyed the simple life of country living. He was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed being outside doing what he loved. Darrol could often be found fishing, which was an activity he cherished doing with his family. He was a skilled carpenter having made a career in the construction industry. Darrol liked to share his skills and knowledge with his children by teaching them how to fix and build things. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend, he will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Anita Harvey Adams; children, Justin Adams, Hannah Adams, Heidi Adams Navarre (Kala), Jordan Kearce, Mallory Pharr, Kaitlyn Henry, and Rayfield LaVergne II; mother, Mary Kearce; brother, Scott Kearce (April); sister, Tonya Ware (William “Billy”); grandchildren, Anne Marie Dailey, Skylar Kay Mouton, Trent Landry, and Rhett James Lopez; godchildren, Douglas, Dustin, Christian, and Lacey Mahaffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Kearce; son, Cullen Hayes; father-in-law, Gary Harvey, Sr., and brother-in-law, William Harvey.
