April 30, 1945 – August 27, 2019
Montville- Nancy Lee (Silva) Espinosa, 74, of Montville died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.
Mrs. Espinosa was born on April 30, 1945 in New London, the daughter of the late David and Cynthia (Coates) Silva. She married John “Jack” Espinosa in 1971 in Maryland. She was employed for many years in Banking for various institutions in the area. Mrs. Espinosa is survived by her loving husband Jack, her daughters Gail (Espinosa) Pflugbeil of Montville and April Espinosa of Groton, her grandchildren Kailah (Pflugbeil) Walsh & her husband Jeff of Norwich & Tylor Pflugbeil of New London, along with her beloved great-grandson Jaxson Walsh. As well as her sister Cynthia (Silva) Brown of Georgia. She is also survived by multiple generations of nieces & nephews (Silva’s & Espinosa’s) along with cousins. She was predeceased by her brother David Paul Silva of Ashaway, RI.
Mrs. Espinosa was active with the Girl Scouts, town schools, & town sports when her girls were young. She enjoyed baking, crosswords, games on the computer, crafts, & spending days with her cousin; Roseann. Becoming a grandmother & later great-grandmother made her the happiest. She did all kinds of things with/for Kailah & Tylor as they grew up & taught them so many different things as only a Nana could. She loved every minute she had with Jaxson; he was definitely the ‘apple of her eye’. Her family was everything to her & she loved spending as much time with them as she could. She did so much for those she loved never asking for a thing in return. She will be missed more than words can express!

I know this woman as Aunt Nancy. She always had kind words and a loving heart, I will remember the sweet chuckle of her laugh, and her welcoming smile. My heart goes out to her family and all who love her. She will be sadly missed by all. God has called her home, and heaven receives another angel. Rest in the arms of our Lord Aunt Nancy, l love you..
