The daughter of the late Frances Tribou and Louis Tribou, Ann was born in New Orleans on May 25, 1934. She was preceded in death by her close, first cousin, Earl Porche, and her grandsons, Ryan Paul Delacroix and Gregory Marcel Delacroix.
Ann and her former, and deceased spouse, Will Baltazor, had two daughters, Mitzi Baltazor Melancon (Tim) and Erin Baltazor Delacroix (Scott). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Delacroix, Jr. (Carrie) and Angelle Elise Ellerbe (Michael), six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ann is also survived by her dear cousin, Barbara Porche Baker, who grew up with her like a sister.
Ann attended grammar school at St. James Major and high school at Sophie B. Wright in New Orleans. She was a lifelong and devoted Catholic and a parishioner of several parish churches throughout the years. Ann always enjoyed time with her family. She was a member of several garden clubs over the years, as she loved gardening. Later in life, Ann became a devoted Bridge player. It was only in the not too distant past that she had to give it up. Ann relished, and hoped to one day resume, her weekly card games with dear friends, Jackie Stephens, Gen Cole, and Dot Lyons.
A private funeral service was held on September 19, 2023.
