Cue the song “My Way” for Dominick Michael Tamburo III. A strong, intelligent, stubborn, loving and amazing man, Dominick lived a full life. Born March 16, 1947, in Greenville, MS., Dominick spent most of his life in his beloved city of New Orleans. He passed away June 24, 2022, at 75 years young.

Dominick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tulane University in 1969 and was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Tulane in 1973. He began his nearly fifty-year legal career as an attorney with the United States Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service in Washington D.C. Next, Dominick joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a Special Attorney in the Tax Division, Criminal Section. Later, he was appointed Assistant in Charge, United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Louisiana in Lafayette.
