Bob's energy had a unforgettable effervescence that filled a room. There was never any doubt about his passions because they exuded from his pores--from his commitment to fitness and healthy eating... to his family... to nurturing OG, his other child.

He was a dynamo. His work ethic and enthusiasm for life greatly shaped me as I was exploring the professional world as a recent graduate. While at OG, he pushed me to sharpen my teeth--to be just a little bit less "nice." This was hard for me, but having grown some tougher skin has ultimately helped me. I am forever grateful to him for his support of my goals and growth, and I am glad that he and I maintained our connection beyond my time at OG.

I will miss your booming voice, your unique laugh, and your philosophical musings, mate.

Bob, you were a great friend to me over the last 20yrs, as you helped me shape my career at Salomon/Citi. Every time you rang and some one shouted Bob Reed is on the phone, everyone wanted to know what you were calling about, I knew I was going to have a great catch up with tons great stories, and laugh and laugh and laugh. Just loved our conversations and time together. You were one of kindest people who loved life, people and most importantly your family. PJ, I knew you through Bob, and Deanna was fortunate enough to really spend time with you. We are so saddened by the loss and what you and the family face going ahead. Know that Bob will always be a life long memory for all those who he touched. I will truly miss him. All our love and wishes James and Deanna

Sending love and prayers to all of Raj’s family. I went to high school with Raj and our lockers were always near each other! I remember him as sweet and kind and always a smiling bright spot in my day🙏 May you cherish the beautiful memories you created together knowing he’ll live on in all of our hearts.

Words fail to express my sorrow for your loss. The joy Raj brought to our lives will not be forgotten.

A poem by Ellen Brenneman

His Journey’s Just Begun
Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey has just begun
life holds many facets
the Earth is only one

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away

And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.

Stay strong, PJ, Leela, Sai and Family.
I love this photo of Raj with a beautiful Fire Island sunset in the background, reminding there is nothing permanent except change.

Love Always,
Sher and Lokhandwalla family.

I've known Raj & Padma and their families for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories of them are seeing them together at TLCA functions in Long Island when they must have first started dating - I looked up to them and their coolness so much. The love between them was evident from the start and grew into something for the ages. Raj was at so many milestone events in my life, both happy and sad. And no matter how much time passed by since I had seen him last, he always made me feel like I was an important family member, asking about my parents and my family. This photo is from when he and Padma invited Satish and I to spend the weekend in Fire Island (soon after my dad passed away). He caught a massive fish that day on the beach and you could hear his laugh down the shoreline. I will always remember his love for life and the immense love he had for Padma, Leela, Sai, and the rest of his family. We love you all and will always be here for you. Kavitha & Satish Rao

Dear Padmaja, Kumar and Family,

I was so sad to hear the news about Raj. My deep condolences to all of you for this tragic loss. Raj was so well loved by all of you and accomplished so much during his life. Although we haven’t been in touch for some time, I have good memories of Raj from our younger years. Thinking of you and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help during this difficult time.

Warmest regards,
