I love you and miss you so much, Daddy. I wish you were still here with me.

But now you are finally at peace. You fought so hard for so long. No one can say you weren't brave, or didn't put up a good fight. The cancer would've killed lesser men years ago. But you were a Harris man, and too damn stubborn to let a little cancer take you too soon, weren't you?

You went peacefully, and you got to spend time with your family before you passed.

You are at peace now. And if there is any kind of heaven, I'm sure you're riding a motorcycle right now.

I love you and will miss you always.

R.I.P. John William Harris (March 21, 1936 - April 6, 2014).

To dear cousins--I am sorry that i could not attend the services, but pray the Lord's blessings for John and all of you. I am sending something to the Wounded Warriors Project today as suggested, but do not know if they let you know of these things or not. I am putting Johnny's name on it, Newburgh,IN. I know the last years took a heavy toll on him but he put up a great fight according to our Ferguson cousins as well as Ron and Marilyne Conner. With sympathy to all, Del Harris, Frisco, Tx
