James Melvin Loud was born in Dallas, Texas to James Melvin Loud II and Anne Earl Loud as the first of nine children.
He graduated from Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles, then attended Huston-Tillotson University, a historical black college in Austin, Texas that is closely affiliated with the United Methodist church.
He began his career at ITT Gilfillan, a major manufacturing and defense contractor business in Van Nuys, California. He retired from there after 23 years. He then began a new career in San Bernardino County, California as a custodian.
James is predeceased by his Dad, James Melvin Loud, II, his grandparents James H. Loud and Maude G. Loud, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
James is survived by his mother, Anne Earl Waller, his children, Demetria Y. Loud, Jimeca Loud, LaTawn Loud, DeShawn Loud, Jade Loud, and grandchildren, Kennedi Lipscomb, and Khyla Lipscomb.
He is also survived by many brothers and sisters including, Vanessa Loud, Brenda Wheeler(George)
Henry Loud, Sandra Loud, Ray Loud, Erika Travis(Tony), Robert Loud, Derek Loud(Merry), Tamura Loud, and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
