Mr. and Mrs. Custer were like my second home growing up. I always felt like I was part of the family. How sorry I am to hear about Mr. Custer's passing but I also believe he is in a better world and with Diane now. I will always miss him but I will treasure the great smile he would always have for me, the kindness he would always show me and his genuine laugh that made me laugh too! I am a better person for being a friend with his daughter and another member in the Custer family. Rest in Peace Mr. Custer. I love you!

Dear Floye,
God Bless you. We hope you are doing as well as possible. We'll miss Lyle but are confident that he is now happy, vigorous and excited to be in God's care. It's funny but I often think of Lyle when I'm dealing with avocados.
Our Love and Prayers for God's Grace,

I have known Lyle Custer for about 15 years when we served together at the Granada Hills Community Service Center. Lyle Custer was a volunteer with the Los Angeles Police Department Devonshire Divison for 6 plus years. He was a graduate of the Citizen's Police Academy. Mr. Custer served his community by contributing hundreds of hours of his time to make a difference. It was an honor to know and work with him Thank you Lyle for your friendship, you have made a difference in my life. RIP my friend, we will meet again one day.
