Charles Buddy E. Lail

Born October 11, 1936 in Catawba Co., he was the son of the late Charles Forrest Lail and Mary Louise Worley Lail. He was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and had worked many years in the furniture industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Matthews.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jeanette McCracken Lail of the home; daughter, Robin Claudon and husband, Ron of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Lail Claudon of Charleston, SC, Bentley Claudon and husband, Brad Kensinger of Blacksburg, VA; brother, Dallard Lail; sister, Christine Hedrick and Peggy Storey.

A service of remembrance will be held, Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton with Pastor Joel Frye and Pastor Mike McKinney. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
