Suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Niagara Falls at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Gerald (1992) and her grandson Dennis Long Jr. (2010). Survived by her children; Cathy (Chris) Blair, Claire Stewart, Sandra (Andrew) Grisdale, Daniel Briere.
Beloved grandmother to; Christy Fraser, Brandy Hord, Gerald Long, Stacey MacIntyre, Tara Marion, Ian Blair, Jacqueline VanBrussel, Brittany Carter, Shane Blair.
Also great-grandmother to; Cody Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Melody "Draven" Laurin, Autumn Carter, Ethan Fraser, Arthur Young, Chloe "Ash" Carter, Liam Fraser, Brian Macintyre, Riley Hord, Clara Macintyre, Zoey Long, Annabelle Blair.
Also survived by her brother in Newfoundland George Phillips. Predeceased by her siblings; Margaret Kennedy, Judy Bakeman, Beverly Biggins, Barbara Chaisson, Johnny Phillps.
Colleen was a loving mother and home maker who worked for 10 years as a special needs school bus monitor. She took delight at spending Saturday mornings at the Casino and enjoyed playing games on her computer such as "Bejeweled Blitz" and camping.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario on Wednesday May 11, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:00am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00am followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls.
