Peacefully at Shalom Manor in Grimsby on December 2, 2018 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her loving husband Clarence. Survived by her children; Helen (Ted) Postma, Metteke (Jack) VandenBout, Peter (Katie) Terpstra, John (Alison) Terpstra, Andy ( Yvonne) Terpstra. Beloved grandmother of Jason, Kelly, Matthew, Adrian, Ashley, Jared, Melissa, Sherri, Ryan, Kevin, Janine, Kristen, Lindsay, Mark, Robert, David, & Travis and great-grandmother of 33.
Jessie is predeceased by her brothers, Pete, Kampe, & Okke Ellens and sister Aaltje Vanderwal & daughter-in-law Henny Terpstra.
Jessie immigrated to Canada in 1948 and settled in the Niagara Region where she was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. Her home & family were her pride & joy.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Wed. Dec 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 4878 Jepson Street, Niagara Falls at 11:00am Thurs. Dec 6th. Private family interment to take place prior to service.
