So many kind words have been shared and I agree with them all. My uncle Monte always had a smile on his face...I can see it now. I will remember him for his quiet yet warm presence always. Reunited with his family in heaven. Rest in peace, you will be fondly remembered!

Monte was a great man, truly one of the nicest people around. I will miss him
very much. He was the best Backgammon player I have ever played with and it always gave me much satisfaction when I was able to beat him in those rare instances. May you rest in Heavenly Peace my friend!

He was such a sweet man. Dixie & I usually saw him only once a year when he visited Hatteras with Norma & Bill, and we looked forward to having some cousin time with all of them. He will be missed.

I'm heartbroken that this wonderful man has left us. He is all that has been said and more. Generous and kind. He would do anything for you.
Now he and Dickie are together again.

You were a good friend. Life happens and we didn't get to see each other that much but I often thought of you and how you were doing. I could always count on you for keen insights and no drama. I'll miss you my friend.
