Born April 13th, 1933 in Mannsville OK, to James Edward Marsh and former Miss Cora Mae Clement. Cecil formerly was married to Miss Maureen Woodruff of Mannsville, OK.
Cecil’s career included 18 years spent with Great Plains Coca Cola Bottling Company. He had been employed at both Ardmore and Oklahoma City. He served as a route man and route supervisor and later was promoted to Stockroom Manager for the Oklahoma City plant. Cecil later joined the team at Eureka Water Company, in August of 1981, where he served as a Water Cooler department manager until his retirement in May of 1999.
Cecil enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and family. He was an avid reader, he enjoyed hunting, working in his garden, and visiting and having coffee with his friends and neighbors. In the past, Cecil had really enjoyed time spent wolf hunting with his brothers, but in recent years he enjoyed tending to cattle, clearing timber and making improvements to his land and cabin in Muse, OK. He was a true conservative, born during the depression. He was a faithful prayer warrior for his family, friends and country. Many treasured Cecil, and he will be dearly missed.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Marsh, two sons Stephen Leon and Cecil Leon Marsh Jr., one daughter Rebecca Kaye Marsh, nine grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, a stepson, and his many nieces and nephews all whom he loved dearly.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Marsh, five brothers, Clay, Rufus John, James Edward Jr., Houston, Herbert, one sister, Trulene Foster, and two sons, Michael Ray and Gary Dale Marsh.
