Howard is survived by his beloved wife, of 54 years, Marjorie. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Zacholl (Arlene), and his three loving daughters: Lisa Parker (Jason), Teresa Zacholl, and Marjie May Fitzgerald (John). Howard's presence will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren: Annabel Campbell (John), Grace Parker, Junior Parker, Ruby Parker, Kassy Fitzgerald, and CJ Fitzgerald.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nancy Zacholl.
In his early years in New York, Howard enjoyed the great outdoors through fishing, hunting, and camping adventures with his family. He treasured those moments spent in nature, creating lifelong memories with his loved ones. After relocating to South Carolina, Howard discovered a new passion for shrimping, and offshore fishing, relishing the simple joys of being out on the water. In his leisure time, he found relaxation in solving word-search puzzles, immersing himself in a good book, and following his two favorite television shows, NCIS and Blue Bloods.
Howard will be remembered for his sense of humor, his unwavering commitment to his family, and his ability to find contentment in life's simple pleasures. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have shown their support and condolences during this difficult time.
