Anton Dolenc, 82, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Auburn, passed away on June 12, 2018 at his home of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Anton was born on October 20, 1935 in Auburn, Illinois, the son of Tony & Jessie Dolenc. He married his wife, Cheryl, on January 8, 1983.
Anton graduated from Auburn Schools and Western Illinois University in 1957. He was a teacher and coach; and later worked in sales. He retired to Fort Myers in 2002 where he enjoyed retirement to the fullest.
He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Jessie Dolenc, son Derek Dolenc and sister Marge Divjak. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 35 years, Cheryl Dolenc, and is also survived by sons Kent Dolenc and Douglas Dolenc, daughter Annette Coleman, step-daughter Heather Teegarden, sisters Mary Lou Eliason and Joyce Sheppard, mother-in-law, Margaret Flanagan and grandchildren.

Cremation was entrusted to National Cremation & Burial Society.
