Jeanette Maureen Kazich 1942-2017 Jeanette (Klein) Kazich of North Fort Myers Florida, formerly of Lemont, IL passed away on Monday, March 20th 2017. She is preceded in death by her father, Clement Klein. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Klein, her husband of 56 years, Walter, her three daughters, Cynthia Malak (Tim), Kimberly Rachan (Bill), Heather Pizzoferrato (Aldo), and her five grandchildren Brittany Manno (Joe), Jennifer Rachan, Rebecca Rachan, Aldo Pizzoferrato, and Alaina Pizzoferrato. Jeanette started off her adult life working in the city of Chicago as a secretary, quitting only to fulfill her dream of being a full-time mom. With three daughters, she soon became involved in the Girl Scout Community. She was a leader of both Brownie and Junior troops and eventually took on a Director position. Once the girls were older, she embraced her love of travel and became a successful travel agent, traveling to Jamaica, New Zealand, Australia, and numerous other places. She was always ready for a new adventure. One of her favorite places to visit was Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She was excited to share her love of Disney and took each grandchild for their first Disney trips. She and her friends enjoyed many trips to the Magic Kingdom after retirement. In her free time, she has enjoyed many games on the computer, bingo and even pool. She was a natural at bowling, just like her mom and dad. As a young woman, she even held the title of Joliet Area Princess; an award given to highly skilled young bowlers. She continued bowling until her retirement. Jeanette was a very creative person. Throughout the years she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, and even designed her own clothing. She was an avid reader of many books, in particular, anything written by James Patterson. Known to everyone as Nana, she was the center uniting force in her family. Her love will carry on through the close ties she helped foster in her family and relationships. She will be deeply missed by all those who have had the pleasure of knowing her. A memorial will be held on Friday April 21st at 10:00am at Saint Alphonsus Church in Lemont, IL.
