Richard P. von Kummer, who celebrated his 51st birthday this past August, passed away Sunday,the 23rd of September, at his home in Valley Village, CA. Born in Hartford CT. he received a Bachelors degree in Finance from Boston University. He was vice president of finance for Dream Products Catalog in Chatsworth, CA.
Richard was an avid traveler and consummate home re-modeler. He loved his pet Zeke and was a supporter of dog rescues.
Members of his family include his mother, Mrs. Paula von Kummer of North Andover MA. his partner of 24 years, Carlos Cuevas. His brother Bruce of Vernon, CT, his sisters Susan Sarnocinski of Lansdale PA, Judy von Kummer of North Andover, MA, and Penny Anderson currently of Webster MA. Nieces, Carrie, Jennifer, Tracy and Paige and nephews Justin and Zachary.
He had a wide circle of friends and colleagues that reached from coast to coast.
