She was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 1, 1949 as the middle child of Frederick Tucker and Gwendolyn Tucker (nee Graham).
Claudette attended Camperdown High School and the University of the West Indies.
She worked passionately in the communications field in multiple positions at the Jamaica Brodcasting Corporation (JBC), JAMAL and her won Communications Plus business.
She married Carl Deleon, the father of her two children, Carlette and Carlyle Troy, both raised in Linstead where shw was an active member of the St. Catherine business community through the Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Linstead Hospital NGO.
Like her older sister, Margaret and her younger sister, Lizette, Claudette sought fortunes in North America.
Following her divorce and retirement, Claudette relocated to Boston, MA and settled with her second husband, Anthony Attride. There she trained as a paralegal, emerged from retirement and pursued a second career in the legal field.
Running from the harsh winters, Claudette and her husband resettled in Margate, FL.
She is survived by her children, Carlette and Carlyle, her sister Margaret Tucker and Lizette Jones, brother-in-law Milverton Jones, four grandchildren - Rajae, Careese, Caressa and Caleb, other family and friends.
