Elizabeth Wilson

Elizabeth Dyer-Wilson “Lissa” of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. The youngest daughter of the late John F. Dyer, Jr. and Audrey L. Dyer, Lissa grew up in Bethesda, MD and was a graduate of Walt Whitman High School.

Following her time at the University of Maryland in College Park, she married John (Jack) Wilson. They relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, FL. where they raised their wonderful children, Connor and Caroline.

Lissa’s joys in life included playing tennis, cooking and entertaining, creating artistic centerpieces and flower arrangements for friends and family and relaxing at the beach.

In addition to her family, Lissa leaves behind her siblings, Maura Dyer, Chris (Cindy) Dyer, Susan (David) McCardell, Robert (Mary Jo) Dyer. She was an aunt to nine nieces and nephews.

Lissa was predeceased by her brothers David and John and her sister JoAnn Wood (Mike).

A memorial service for Lissa will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 754 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Lissa’s life will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 6900 River Rd., Bethesda, MD at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 24. The family will host a reception immediately following the service.
