Margaret Agnes Clark

January 17, 1922 - November 4, 2015.

Margaret passed away peacefully in her 94th year; predeceased by loving husband William L Clark, sister Jean Millar and brothers Sandy, Jim and Herb. Survived by sister Mildred Field of Walkerton, Ontario, and sisters-in-law, Carole and Lorraine. Margaret grew up in southern Ontario and traveled to Vancouver as a young woman; she loved the city, and lived here for the rest of her life. "Aunt Marg" will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews for the warm sanctuary her home provided at the end of their travels from Eastern Canada.

Margaret will be missed by all who knew her. An avid gardener and gracious hostess, she was engaged and respected in her Upper Lonsdale community, becoming the baby sitter of choice for a whole generation of younger neighbours and enjoying birthdays, bridge and other social activities. Her lighthearted personality belied a great talent for winning at the chessboard.

We wish to thank the extended care staff at Capilano Care Centre for the kind attention Margaret received over her final years and the last days of her life.
