Aldo Danny Gasparino

Preston- Aldo Daniel Gasparino (Danny) 67, beloved husband of Tammy Gasparino (Sam) passed away April 2, 2016 peacefully surrounded by his family. The son of the late Aldo and Alice Gasparino of Chuck Hill Dairy Farm. Danny grew up and was a lifetime resident of Preston. He worked for Tilcon of Ct. as a concrete driver before retiring. Shortly thereafter he was diagnosed with a rare cancer that took his life from us too quickly. Danny played in a Rock & Roll band as a drummer for 20 years and loved music as well as working on race cars, NASCAR, the New York Giants, the ocean, and taking road trips to find the best lobster roll in New England. He leaves two daughters, Gia Gasparino and Ondrea Gasparino-Belisle, and husband Ben, two grandsons, Jakob and Collin Temple, a brother Robert Gasparino and wife Judy. He also leaves two sisters Verna Krider, Virgia Szostak and husband John. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Gasparino, and leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home 136 Sachem Street Norwich on Friday April 8, 2016 from 4:00-5:00 p.m., with a service immediately following.
