Pops update:
After life and being a 'grown up' got in the wqy of seeing dad this week. I was able to go up to see him today!!

Dad has made so much progress over the last week. Today, i saw him shuffle his way to the bathroom with assitance behind him. Dad was also able to have a converstation with us and his little buddy, Lucas. When we first walked in dad was trying to figure out whether or not if there was a grill on the roof top of one of the buildings across the way.. i was a little optimistic about what he was talking about at first .. but with the zoom function of a camera lens it was determined that it was just a part of the ac unit which we laugh at.
The best news which i clarified with the nurse an hour later because i was uncertain whether dad was pulling my leg or not ..well dad HAS GAINED weight..and not just one or two pounds.. lets say about 20.. which is great news!! The throwing up has subsided and the nausea is at bay! Dad was even able to stand up and march in place on thursday for pt. (To many this may seem like such a simple task.. but when you are so weak that even talking exhausts you.. imagine how much of a feat this is). The question remains .. is dad coming home? That question still is pending.. as for what the next step is. Im just glad that prayers are working and dad is finally gaining some strength. The good thing is that since all of this has been stressful, an emotional, physical, mental journey .. i was reassured by dads nurse, amie from bliss 5, from his visit in Feburary that he is in the best place for him. The faith that i was loosing in medical staff and doctors is slowing being with crossing our fingers we will continue to send good vibes to dad. Thank you goes out to everyone who has supported us during this crazy ride.

This is where we get this line from..#millerstrong #pullingforpops

When you are not exactly sure what life has in store for you .. all you have to do is enjoy the little moments.
Pops had a very busy day today.. he started p.t and tomorrow o.t
He had some of his favorite visitors today minus one.. and yes the rehab faculity that he is at is pet friendly. Imagine how happy he was to see his best buddy and littlest buddy today. Its the little things to keep dad happy through this difficult time for him
