We spent four years of our lives together. There was never a dull moment. Even after we parted, you would always call or stop by to say hello. Now things are silent but your memory is alive.

I'm at a loss for words hearing this........we surely had fun and memories.

I attended Elementary school with Sandra. We were neighbors in Bozrah,CT. We rode the bus together. In fact I saved a seat for Sandra each and everyday . The older students on the bus chided her, so I would tell her to sit with me. We laughed and giggled all the way to and from school. Many years later we attended NFA together. We were in the same Nursing Assistant class. We had said that we would never forget each other. I never have. Im deeply saddened to learn of her passing. I know she is with the Lord I will see her again. My condolences to her family.
Your Family of Friends

God looked upon his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

I went to Fields Memorial School with Sandra and we always had our ups and downs. She had a inner sprit like no one else. I use to run into her at Walmart every now and then and we would talk about the good old school days. I will always remember her as living life large and I wish I had more time to spend with her.

I wasn't sure when I saw the obituary in The Bulletin whether this Sandra Barry was my friend Sandy Barry, a fellow NFA Class of 1976 alum. I'm sure it is from all I've read about her humor, sass, and kindness. I last saw Sandy in 2001, at our 25th anniversary class reunion. She was as bubbly and funny then as she was in our high school days. I'm sad to learn of Sandy's passing. It's obvious from the others' comments here that a light in our lives has gone out. May light perpetual shine upon Sandy.

I was saddened to hear of Sandy's much too early death. Even though I did not know Sandy very well, she had the ability to touch one's soul, and always remembered my name even though seeing one another infrequently every couple of years. May you find comfort in her beautiful memory.

I am so deeply sorry to read of your loss of Sandy. I have known Sandy since kindergarten. I will miss not seeing Sandy in local stores as whenever we met Sandy would always yell out excitedly, "Rose Darling!" even though she knew I had been married for many years. Jim and I always enjoyed talking with and seeing Sandy. I will deeply miss Sandy but she is in a better place now as people can be so cruel. Rest in peace my long time friend. Sandy, you will be missed.
Sincerely,
Rose Darling-Cirrito

We knew Sandy for years, I can't remember hi we met but she is a memorable person. Always happy and very funny. I never saw her in a bad mood or heard her complain.
She always had the time to talk to friends and acquaintances . Sandy will be missed by more people than you can imagine

I am so very truly sorry to hear about Sandy. I thought the world of her for years, and she always had a smile for me, or a story for me when she entered my family store...Surplus Unlimited in Norwich. She would often spend time in the flower department, picking out silk flowers or all pretty things to run home and decorate. She would make me laugh and laugh, because she had so much excitement, when I would save things for her in the back room. I and my employees, will miss her dearly, and they all hung their heads sadly, when we heard of her loss this afternoon. Please know that you're all in our hearts and thought about during this most difficult time, but also know, that she was well respected and loved by us at Surplus Unlimited, and we will miss her dearly.
