Steven M Dent II

He was born in Downy, CA on April 23, 1975 to Steven and Maria (Enriquez) Dent. Steve grew up in California, played high school football and was active in his church along with his family. He worked as a Grocery Manager until hearing of his father’s failing health and moved to Connecticut to help his family who had moved here previously.

In 2004, he met and would later marry Katarzyna (Lewandowska) “Kasia”. Together they began and raised their family in Mansfield, CT. Steve worked at Frito-Lay as a Route Salesman until he could no longer work due to his illness.

Steve was fun loving, active and involved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. When not at work he enjoyed fishing, hiking, biking and singing karaoke at home with his family. His loving, caring and kind nature will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Kasia, their children; Joshua and Kaya, his mother; Maria Dent, brother Mark Correa, sisters; Yvonne Dent and Arleene Dent Enriquez, nieces and nephews; Nadine, Celina, Rayleene, Valerie, Jonathon, Raquel, David and Mylissa and four (4) great-nephews.Elijah, Adam Jr, Jaydin and Isaac. He was predeceased by his father Steven.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, May 25th, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 6pm. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
