Dennis Gerald Asbury

On May 12, 2022, Dennis G. Asbury passed away. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Ann Asbury; devoted father of Page I. Cook. And her husband Douglas, Jarrod P. Asbury, and step- son Tim E. Biedl and his wife Teresa; dear brother of the late Marion Purdy, Gene Asbury, David Asbury, and Wayne Asbury; loving grandfather of Zachary Asbury; and Dennis’ pride and joy granddog Gracie Ruth. He is also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Orems United Methodist Church, 1020 Orems Rd, Middle River, MD 21220 at 11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. MASK ARE REQUIRED AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dennis’ name to Orems United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund, www.oremsumc.org.
