Edna Lucille Cowan

On July 28, 2020, Edna Lucille Cowan (nee Holloway) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late John Eli Cowan, Sr.; devoted father of Christine M. Cowan-Shafer and her husband John, Cynthia M. Cowan, and John E. Cowan, Jr. and his wife Casandra; loving grandmother of Kayla and Aiden Cowan, and Christopher and Cadence Shafer; dear sister of Louise Ferguson and her husband Leon, Agnes Pridgen and her husband Joe, Kathy Koecher, Margaret Covington and her husband Steve, and the late Anna Pritt, and Bobby Holloway and his wife Sandy. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, August 8, 2020, from 2pm to 4pm; at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment services will be private.
