Mike and I shared so many special memories growing up. He was a younger brother who always kept us on our toes. When he lost his change in the snow filled Gulley by our Aunt Eleanor's house, we were not leaving till he found every last cent (and he did). Or the time he wanted to go to the Boys Club camp for 2 sessions, he had to earn the money for the 2nd session. So he went every day with the boxes of candy we had to sell and came home dirty from head to toe, but sold more candy than anyone else. Of course, dad said wash the dirt off before he could have dinner. So he washed his palms only...cause who eats with the tops. That was Michael. He was always there for me, letting any bullies know not to mess with his sister. He lived a hard life and went thru many trials but was always willing to come to me to talk. He shared love of family. He was a good husband, dad and a wonderful grandfather. His humor and laugh will be missed. Please keep an eye on us up there and enjoy the fishing! Love You...

Thank you Mike for being the role model and dad I needed when I was younger. I learned so much from you and your love and compassion had no equal. "Thank You" will never be enough.

God speed Mike, I'll see you up there one day and relieve your watch.

I am so sorry for your loss, I didn’t know your father that well, but we would message and talk at least once a month... I felt something happened cus I hadn’t heard from him in a while, I sent a message and called him and it went to VM, this was just yesterday ... So sad that he didn’t get to enjoy the new house, but God has a plan and it’s up to Him now... Know that he is up there watching over his family and keeping you safe... watch for signs from him cus I’m sure he will send you some...Rest in peace Mike❤️🙏

I am so sad to see this post. I just started to know him. He was kind and loved his family. He was looking forward to seeing his grandkids grow. I am sorry for your loss. I guess now he can watch from above. Your family is in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Michael's family and friends. Michael, my cousin, showed up at my house in uniform before he left for service in Viet Nam. My Dad, Anthony Siska, a Navy veteran, suggested Michael walk me to my kindergarten class, a few blocks away. All the way to school, but especially in front of the school, all the little boys came running up to us, saluting Michael. Michael laughed and said he was afraid that was going to happen. I am grateful for all the times after that, and for Missy and Carlos, whose devotion allowed Michael the freedom to stay connected over the years. Wishing Michael's family and friends comfort and health.

I first meet Mike on Oct.1, 1968. We became friends and brothers at that time. That was our first day of boot camp in the Marine Corps. Mike is a great guy and friend. He will surly be missed by all who knew him. Great sense of humor and always had a smart come back. Mike until we meet again save a spot for me my Brother. Semper Fi
