Sunny is definitely just that; sunny. Her beautiful smile, unique and sultry voice, positive and upbeat spirit, was always a pleasure to encounter when she would walk the quiet neighborhood street, preferring early morning when the weather was cool. She always offered a sweet greeting, a friendly wave, and a radiant smile. She brightened my day!
One morning, Sunny came upon my son and I outside the gate. She made us both smile, McKay even chuckled, and when we said our good-byes and parted, my son and I felt something, something that makes you feel more alive, more humanity, more, just plain old more! Sunny touched the lives of others just by her presence. She was a kind and friendly neighbor; loved. Now she will be missed that Sunny on the block. Sunny I will see you again inside the pearly gates, and we can go for an evening swim, an early morning walk around the block. I hope in Heaven you are still my neighbor. Peace.

We were young Baha'is who used to hang out at Ralph and Sue Schreibers; we had young kids; we were madly in love with the Faith; that never ebbed. Then about ten years ago, I hooked up with Sunny and Bill on Pilgrimage. What a privilege.
I remember her wonderful kids; and my heart goes out to everyone, and also to dear Bill; this is hard, but she is with you.

Love and continued prayers,
Esther (once Martin) now, Esther Bradley-DeTally

To know Sunny was to love her. She was so easy to love. We’ve been friends and in touch for years I will miss her so much. She even knew our adopted Liberian son Josh and kept in touch with him. She and I would play a trivia game online several times a week. And how she loved her family and her chickens. Praying for the progress of this handmaiden of the Sacred Threshold’s precious soul. 💞🙏🏻💞

Dear Bill and family...

I only met you and Sunny one time when we spent 10 days at sea together on the "Baha'i" cruise to Panama and the islands in 2009. I'd known Sunny from our time in the Hut and grew to love her dearly. I know that the Concourse on High is being entertained as we speak. I look forward to a grand reunion when it's my turn to go home. Sail on sister peach! Bill, I pray that Baha'u'llah brings peace, joy, and comfort to you and your family.
LYM!
