We want to share our profound sadness for the loss of our beloved cousin, Odd Lee Skjegstad.
His love for his beautiful wife and family was abundantly clear to all who knew and loved Lee.
He was truly one of a kind, in every way. His heart and his humor was a treasure to all who were lucky enough to know him.
He was a fun and happy soul, as well as a prankster. One of my fondest memories of him was at one of our family gatherings. We were at their gorgeous home in Vista that Lee had built. Everyone was talking, laughing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. At one point, I had taken off my red stilettos and left them in the house.
By the time we retired back inside for a bite, I went to go put my shoes back on and what did I find? A huge snake cozying up and making himself at home in my shoes! Can you guess who had done the deed? The one laughing the hardest! Of course it was Lee!
I had never laughed so hard in my life.
There was never a dull moment with him.
His humor was as bright and special as his talent. Lee was such an amazing builder. There’s something to be said about his attention to his craft. His artistry was stunning.
We are so very proud to call Lee and his family our own.
Lee, you will be missed everyday. There won’t be a day where your beautiful light, laughter and love you shared will go unrecognized. We remember and we will cherish you. Until we see you again, dear cousin.
All of our love,
Kari and Frank Randazzo, and Heidi and Brian Golombek
