OBITUARY
Alomah Gayle Gray
July 19, 1943 – January 13, 2021
Alomah Gayle Gray, age 77 of Odessa, TX entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on July 19, 1943 in Grayville, Illinois to the late Robert L Tidwell and Imogene Sexton Hulsey.
Gayle attended Odessa High School. She went on to work at Doby’s Bar-B-Q restaurant and then in the lab at Medical Center Hospital, retiring in 1997. She married Milam B Gray in August, 1969. They had been married 26 years at the time of his death. Gayle is survived by a daughter, Tammy Barnett of Odessa, TX and a son, James Albert Gray (Beth) of Mt Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren Anna Lyon (James), Jacob Gray (Hannah) and brother Gary S Tidwell. In addition to her parents and husband, Gayle was predeceased by a special companion, Tilmon “Pee Wee” Perry and a sister, Gwynn Harwell.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, TX. Graveside services to follow at 3:00 pm, Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E, I-20 BL, Odessa, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gayle’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
