He and his son (best friend) had the honor of spending 12 months on Johnston Island, Hawaii together doing industrial painting where he was able to do lots of fishing and came back with many stories to tell the grandchildren. His favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, spending time with family and sharing a cup of coffee in the afternoon with his wife. He was a man who never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. The importance of family was evident, and he will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many nurses, physicians, and staff at Medical Center Hospital for their compassionate care during our time of need. Services will be held at Odessa Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Dennis officiating on Thursday June 20, 2017 at 10:00am.
