Mac was a great support to cottage owners in and around Duane. He plowed our camp road for many years. It was always great sharing coffee with Mac and listening to his stories. He was always ready to give a helping hand.

We could always call Mac when we needed help and we made that call more than a few times. Mac was our caretaker and maintenance man at our camp and we relied on him many times. But more than that Tina and I called Mac and Marti friends as we played cards, went boating and shared meals over the years. I know that list of friends is a long one and we are glad to be a part of it Rest In Peace Mac.

My condolences to Mac's family. Mac and I were neighbors and classmates until Mac left for the Air Force. Our children were school mates and I worked occasionally with Mac when he operated the village STP. He was a good friend, dedicated to his family and contributor to his community. So sorry that you've left this life. You will be missed

I can’t remember how many times I got my self in a bind and had to call Mac for guidance. He was always there for me when I needed help. On another note. He talked me into trucking an Amish building from Heuvelton up to the Red Tavern with out a permit. He said he had the route all mapped out to take the back roads so we won’t run into any police. Needless to say we must of met at least three state troopers that actually moved over for us. By the grace of God we didn’t get any tickets. I’m going to miss our adventures.
My condolences to the whole family.
Mac Rest In Peace!!

Marty and family, I am so sorry to read of Mac's passing. I have way too many fond memories of Mac to even begin to share them here. Growing up in Heuvelton and as a member of the Heuvelton Fire Dept., I've known Mac and his family the entire time. Mac was always a friend and always stood by me. I know he leaves a huge void and will be missed by everyone. Remember, as long as you hold him in your hearts and have his memories, he will never truly be gone. With love, thoughts and prayers, Rosemary Davis Knowlton, Batesburg, SC

I can only remember meeting uncle Mac once, when I was oh so much younger. Two things have stayed with me,from that encounter. One was his request for my dad to take him to see our sewage works, being young I could think of more exciting places to visit. The main words of wisdom to me though, was his observation of our country. He couldn't understand why when we had so much land, did we build all the houses in one place on top of each other......he was so right. Thank you uncle Mac for always being in my memories, good night xx
