I am shocked & saddened by this news we had no idea. We just saw him at PF Chang’s & he came & talked to us as he always did when we were out.
We meet in the 90’s at N MacArthur & got to know Rod & Bernadette they were fun to do things with! He replaced several roofs for us. He loved God & his family!
Bernadette we will keep you & your family in our prayers!

During 92-94 we had the privilege to meet this family thru OCA basketball. While we never knew Rod very well, we have been able to see his legacy in his daughter, Shelby Morris. Our love and prayers are being sent your way. These pics show a very fun grandpa to his grandchildren!

Rod and I played baseball together as kids. My dad (Dick Robins) and Rod's dad "HR" coached our team. We went our separate ways when I was bussed from John Marshall to Northeast High School, and I went off on a military career thereafter. Rod was a great childhood friend, and I missed out on keeping that friendship alive. It is comforting to know that we will someday meet again in the arms of Jesus, and can then make up for the lost time here on earth. God bless.

HE WAS A RAY OF SUNSHINE ON THE SOCCER FIELDS TO WATCH HIS DAUGHTER PLAY. HE ALWAYS MADE ME SMILE, EVEN BEFORE HE SAID A WORD. SAFE TRAVELS ROD, GO WITH GOD.
